PHY 240 - ELECTRICITY AND MAGNETISM I;

Description: Electrostatic fields and potentials in vacuum, Gauss law, electrostatics of dielectrics, magnetostatics, Biot-Savart, Ampere, and Faraday laws, magnetic induction, magnetic materials, and Maxwell s equations.

PHY 270—EXPERIMENTAL PHYSICS;

Description: Experiments that demonstrate principles of physics. Emphasis on experimental techniques, laboratory practices, data analysis, and the quality of written reports.
